Daniel Escalante Perez

I am Daniel, a passionate software engineering student driven by love for what I do. The search for knowledge and diligence define my approach to every project I encounter. I am constantly seeking ways to improve and thrive on pushing the limits of my skills and knowledge. Exploring new technologies is a never-ending adventure that fuels my curiosity and broadens my horizons.

I am currently in my final year of my undergraduate program with a GPA of 4.87/5. I am mainly interested in software development, cloud computing, AI, and DevOps. I have particular strength in these areas thanks to the multiple skills I have gathered from courses, participation in events, and my work as a research and teaching assistant. Within my skill set, I can highlight my expertise in full-stack design and development using multiple frameworks, including Nest, Flask, FastAPI, Spring, React, and Angular.

Additionally, I have experience with Google Cloud Platform and Azure through the development of multiple SaaS applications using IaaS, CaaS, and FaaS tools, as well as my internship in Cloud Engineering. I am also familiar with Kubernetes and OpenShift for container orchestration and management. On the DevOps side, I have hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Helm, which have strengthened my understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

AI-wise, I have participated in multiple intensive workshops by NVIDIA, which have taught me about deep learning, agentic AI, LLMs, transformers, and more.
